Those who are familiar with Android’s ADB and Fastboot commands and have experience with custom ROM installations must know what Android’s ADB and Fastboot commands are and why.  Those who already have an idea about this know that the most troublesome task of giving ADB and Fastboot commands to Android with the help of a desktop is to install ADB’s clients and drivers on the desktop.

Using this website called webadb, you can easily run ADB tools inside your web browser without installing any ADB tools, clients, drivers. You can apply ADB commands to your Android using a web browser and do everything you could if you installed a local ADB client without going through any installation or setup process.

Speaking of functionality, using the ADB website allows you to sideload apps to Android with ADB commands from a web browser, run shell commands, record Android screens, access files using a dedicated file manager, and access wireless if you want. .

How to Do it:

First of all, it’s not just a plug and play experience. It will not work out of the box in your web browser. However, the setup required to do this is much more hassle-free than installing ADB Tools locally on Windows. I don’t know how the Firefox browser works and if it works at all. I am talking about the setup of Google Chrome and all other Chromium-based web browsers. The setup means you only have to do one thing first. That is, chrome: // flags / go to this link and enable a feature here. Search this enabled new USB backend in Chrome’s Flags menu. You will see a feature with this name in the search results. Now enable this feature and restart the browser.

Now you need to enable USB debugging in developer mode on your smartphone. You’ve read this post so far, so I hope you already know how to turn on USB debugging on Android. However, if you do not know, then I am saying here. And in that case I would suggest you read this previous post about ADB and Fastboot. However, let’s see how to enable USB debugging on Android – go to the About Phone section of your device’s settings. Go here and click on Build Number option 5-6 times in a row. If you use Xiaomi phone, then click on Miui Version option without clicking on Build Number. If you click 5-6 times, you will see that you are now a developer. Wow, it’s so easy to be an Android developer!

However, this time you will see another new category in the Additional Settings option in the main settings menu of your device called Developer Options or something like that. Move to this category. Now find the USB Debugging option from here and tick it, that is, enable it. Allow your device to say something with a pop-up when enabling.

Now visit this website app.webadb.com in your Chrome or Chromium browser and connect your smartphone to the desktop with the help of a USB cable. Now click on the Connect Device button on the left side of the website interface and you will see the name of the connected Android phone on the screen. Select the device from the list and connect.

Once connected, you will be able to access all the options and features in the interface of this app. There is no need to say anything new about the options, as you can understand by looking at the titles of the options what the work of any option can be. If you want, you can easily connect your phone wirelessly by going through some light setup processes from ADB Over WiFi option.
